Player Information Sheet
Schedule of Play/Format: 18 Holes of Net Four-Ball stroke play. Playing Handicaps will be calculated using 85% of a player’s 12-month low handicap index based on the August 6, 2026 Handicap Revision. Handicap indexes used to determine a competitors Playing Handicap will not exceed 18.0 and any Playing Handicaps will be maxed at 18.0.
Rules of Play: The 2023 Rules of Golf are in effect and are supplemented by the MASS GOLF HARD CARD. The Committee will provide any additional Local Rules needed at the championship site. It is the individual player’s responsibility to know the Terms of the Competition. For a side’s score to count, the correct score for each hole must be individually identifiable on the official scorecard.

Golf Carts, Caddies, & Push/Pull Carts: Golf carts are permitted for the Championship proper and were included in the entry fee. The use of push/pull carts is also permitted. CADDIES ARE NOT ALLOWED. .
Starting Times: Can be found HERE. Please make sure to be at your starting tee at least 10 minutes prior to your starting time to ensure that all proper instructions are received from the starter. THERE IS NO REGISTRATION TABLE. PLEASE BE AT YOUR TEE TEN MINUTES BEFORE YOUR TEE TIME
Practice Rounds:
- Availability: Tuesday, July 28th, Thursday July 30th, or Tuesday August 4th
- Call the Pro Shop no more than 7 days in advance to secure a tee time.
- The pro shop may be reached by calling 781-585-0555
- There will be a $50 mandatory cart/trail fee per player for each practice round.
- Competitors are limited to one practice round and only must play one ball.

Practice Facilities: All practice facilities/areas will be available starting at 6:30AM.
Food & Beverage Services: Mass Golf will provide a complimentary luncheon on 11am-3pm. Additional F&B options will be available (drinks, snacks, alcohol, etc.) for players/caddies/spectators at their own expense – CASH/CARD ACCEPTED. Players teeing off in the afternoon are encouraged to take advantage of this luncheon before their round.
Prizes: Champion plaques will be awarded to Champions and Players finishing in the top ten places & ties will receive merchandise certificates that are only redeemable at the host site.
Tiebreaker: Any tie for first place will be broken by the USGA scorecard tie breaking method. (Last 9 Holes, Last 6 Holes, Last 3 Holes, 18th Hole).
